LMS on Ubuntu does not recognize new FLAC fules

I am running the latest version of the LMS on a current Ubuntu machine

It does not recognize newer FLAC rips. But, the same directory structure works on MacOS. I removed
references to iTunes to keep things simple (for now)

Done a complete Library Rescan multiple times, but the newer FLAC files are not "picked up" by the server. I can add log files
if necessary
