I own a vast collection of jazz records mostly from the 50's, 60's and early 70's which have been issued, reissued with different covers and newly added tracks, etc etc . Inevitably I found myself with some duplicate recordings.
I recently came across LAN Search Pro, a Win freeware utility, that allows me search my Linux music server storage and lists all folders (or files) that result from a given search term. That list may be exported in various formats to be worked upon a a later stage.
The search profile used may be saved and it will load itself automatically next time the application is started.
Because I found this little program extremely useful I added it to the right click menu. It may be useful to other people here.
I have no ties whatsoever with the developers.
