Hi all
Iam using 2TB external HDD connecting to a Ras Pi 4 B.
I Have used "How to" Guide and seem to be O.K. got new IP Address for LMS, Cache found etc/.. but unsure how to get HDD connected. I take it My HDD needs reformatting , (I Have Flac files on there so they may wipe off..But backed up So no probs.)
So heres my issue. On the "How to Guide": install additional File systems section, Theres "Install".
After that, a "Remove Fat 32". Do I need to press this..? before continuing..? and is this where I have to set a partition, for the HDD? then back up..?
If I need to partition My HDD..do I need to this via my Home PC/software, Then return The HDD TO THE Pi..?
Also after rebooting after each instruction to do so, I find Sometimes the web address goes down (Maybe its not finished rebooting.?) I just take out my Lan from Pi & router plug back in and it finds the address again.
At the Moment I feel, So near, yet so far away to getting up & running!
