Running LMS 7.9.3 - 1584993250 on a Win10 box. I've been using this setup with my Radio for many years with no unsolvable issues.
I just moved and had the place wired with CAT5 and the Radio is connected to Ethernet. However, the IP address will not stick. I have manually entered it a number of times today and the end result is that LMS Control Panel shows it as a completely different address. I'm trying to get 192.168.1.11 to be the static address. The IP showing in the Control Panel is 169-254-2xx.xx. And yes, the Control Panel shows the correct address for the Server.
I have DHCP and WiFi turned off at the router. I have a Touch somewhere in one of the cartons yet to be unpacked so I can't test to see if that is doing the same thing. But it wouldn't matter as I need the Radio to be connected first.
Suggestions?
Thanks.
EDIT - for whatever reason it appears that the Radio needs to be power-cycled after setting the IP. It is now sticking as expected.
