Sonos Arc usable via AirPlay bridge oronly DLNA?

Hi

I am thinking about a Sonos Arc Soundbar (great Dolby Atmos support according to WhatHifi). But I have one questions: It supports AirPlay 2 - but does it support AirPlay 1, so tat I can use it as a piCore player via thew AirPlay bridge?

I read, I can use the DLNA bridge, but I would prefer the AirPlay bridges, as I already use it extensively and the sync works.
