Optical output does not turn off during standby, SB3

In LMS Setttings, I have my Classic player configured with:
____ Turn off Audio : Disable outputs when off

However, the optical output (red laser) is on during standby. This is not desired, since my soundbar will not turn on automatically without a trigger from the optical input. With my other audio devices, the optical outputs work as expected.

I see a similar issue was raised in 2014 for the SB Touch, but contributor @sckramer commented there the functionality worked correctly with the SB3.


My Configuration:

Player Model: Squeezebox Classic
Firmware: 137

LMS Settings > Player > Audio
____ Power On Resume: Stop at poweroff / Restart song at power on
____ Turn off Audio : Disable outputs when off
