24 bit FLAC files not picked up by scanner

Hello ! I just bought music files encoded as FLAC 24 bit @ 96 Khz. To my surprise, the files are not picked up by the scanner, so I can't play them. There are no errors reported in the server.log and scanner.log log files. I am using Logitech Media Server Version : 7.9.3 under Ubuntu. Are 24 bit FLAC files supposed to be supported by Squeezebox Server? Many thanks! JL
