Hello all,
Suddenly a while ago (more or less 2/3 weeks) I could not see my LMS server that is on on old PC running Windows 7 Premium Family Edition 6.1.7601.24545.
As I had the issue before that was solved by reinstall and restart, I tried a few upgrades and restarts, to no avail, then came Christmas time, and I reverted to my NAS as LMS server for the time being.
Now that things are quiter (and I am at my desk more often...) I tried again, and installed finally 8.0.2. I found after some searches on the forum and inside Window that it seems the culprit is the Windows Firewall. I am speaking of accessing inside my network, behind my ISP router.
When Firewall is on (Private): "timeout trying to access 192.168.1.xx:9000"
When Firewall is off, no issue.
LMs runs fine when invoked locally on the PC 127.0.0.1:9000
What is strange is that my Domoticz server works fine from inside the network with the firewall on (192.168.1.xx:8080)
I have tried manually adding the exe files from Logitech to the firewall exceptions, nothing works.
Any clue on what's causing this ? I see nothing in the log file of the server BTW:
