I got a nice new for a pi and a display (https://smarticase.com - smart-pi touch pro) and assembled it. As I am in the process of moving to AirPlay speaker, and have no picoreplayer running (only as LMS Server), I thought let's just use jivelite to control the other players.
But there was also the VU meter, which look kind of cool and I really like them. So I started playing some music on the new picoreplayer with the touch (which is not connected to any amplifier) and they worked.
I remembered, that the VU Meters only work on the actual squeezelite player where they are installed, so I thought - hm - LMS has the possibility to sync players - why not sync the (silent) local player with the AirPlay 2 player - and bingo - I got the VU Meters working With my AirPlay speakers! OK - there might be a small delay, but just for looking cool, it is perfect!
