Advice needed on custom RaspPi media player build for shop

I'd like to put a Raspberry Pi based media player in my shop. Lots of welders, lathes and other tools -> plenty of electrical interference -> probably not going to use Bluetooth speakers.

I stumbled on this existing thread by @gvh https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...=1#post1003620

Nice setup, but then I found this: https://www.instructables.com/Wall-M...-Raspberry-Pi/

I actually have a space issue (aka a too many tools issue ;-) so the recessed wall mount idea is appealing. It's also not going to get covered in crap from tool use. I also like the recessed box idea as it gives lots of options for a DAC hat + larger amp, built in power supply. In additional the 120v and speaker wiring can be run in the wall cavity so literally zero visible wiring.

Long ago I had one I had one of the original SlimDevices players but nothing since then.

One of the things that has crossed my mind is do I even need a touch screen? Versus controlling with a tablet/phone (via app). It's a lot simpler than the above recessed touch screen wall mount solution.

For headless (no touchscreen) I'd been considering the RPI HiFi AMP HAT TAS5713 and it's matching case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CZZ95B9 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NCFFH2B081NCFFH2) which I'd flush wall mount. However I'm not sure if 25W is sufficient?

I'd be installing a pair of ceiling mount speakers such as the Pyle PWRC65BT (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D1Z3GM8) which if I went with the Innomaker hat+case solution (above) I'd run the speaker wires under the wall coming out in a wall mounted RCA plate near the Pi.

I'd welcome the advice of those more knowledgeable than I.
