I am using a couple of devices, a squeezebox touch and a Picore player based on RPI3b+. I have the pi connected to my Denon AV processor via HDMI and i was wondering if there might be any way to synchronise the internal Dac via Denon link 4th? Is there any add on or plugin extension that is capable of doing this? Has anyone else considered what might be involved? The Denon has very capable internal dacs so i wouldn't want to bypass them in any way, besides if i used a hat based DACs or any other day with a modern AV processor the signal is converted from analogue back to digital in the processor from the input anyway which is actually adding a processing step going from D to A and then A to D (around the processor) then D to A again (out to the speakers).
