Playlist limit 500 songs

I am absolutely happy with LMS. Thanks for making it work. But I have noticed that my playlist (aproximately 2.200 songs exported from dynamic rating in iTunes) has a limit of 500 songs. Is there a way around that limit - or a way to understand it?
