Naim have recently released some FLAC webstreams:

I have a few LMSes installed on various devices.
One on an O2 Joggler and another on my Synology NAS.
I've found that when I try to play the Naim FLAC streams through my Joggler (LAME-enabled), they play fine.
But trying to play the FLACs through my Synology (without LAME) fails.
I was under the impression that Squeezeboxes didn't need to transcode FLACs and could play them natively.
Why the difference in result?
My file type settings for FLAC are:
AIFF - flac
FLAC - native
MP3 - disabled (Synology) / flac/lame (Joggler)
PCM - flac
The error I get when trying to play through LMS on my NAS is..
"Problem: Cannot open file for:
<Stream name>"
